Join us for an in-depth, CE-accredited seminar on the complexities of treating pain in patients with cancer, including opioid and other substance use disorders and current requirements for medication management.

This seminar meets DEA requirements for SUD education.

Learning Objectives:
  • Discuss the complex pathophysiology & psychology of pain.
  • Evaluate the benefits of multimodal pain management.
  • Recognize signs of substance use disorder (SUD) in the oncology setting.
  • Apply the elements of pharmacologic management of pain, while mitigating risk for SUD.
  • Describe safe prescribing practices for controlled substances
